Snargab was an Orc scout who served in the band of Orcs that meet Uglúk's group and their captives Meriadoc Brandybuck and Peregrin Took. When Uglúk believed the that Rohirrim had been made aware of them, he was blamed for it. After hours of running and making their way to Fangorn Forest, Snargab was killed by Uglúk when he attempted to kill one of the hobbits due to his thirst for hunger.
Behind the Scenes[]
- Snargab appeared in the The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers in 2002 and was played by Jed Brophy who was uncredited for the part.
- Snargab's death was much different in the book. In the book, he was killed along with the rest by Éomer's band of riders. In the film, he was decapitated by Uglúk when he attempted to eat one of the hobbits for dinner.
