|Fate||Stabbed to death by Boromir II during the Skirmish at Amon Hen|
Born in the dark caverns of Isengard during the Third Age. In TA 3001, Gluthrak awakened from his slumber during the time when the War of the Ring began. Given armor and a Hanksar, Gluthrak was chosen by Saruman to serve in Lurtz's company to track down the Fellowship of the Ring. They tracked the Fellowship for a few days and managed to find them in the old ruins of Amon Hen. Like every member of his kin, Gluthrak was given the order to find the hobbits and bring them to Saruman alive and unspoiled. However, this led to an ultimate skirmish, in which Gluthrak was stabbed to death by Boromir II who was defending Meriadoc Brandybuck "Merry" and Peregrin Took "Pippin" from been captured.
