|Fate||Killed by one of the Ents during the Battle of Isengard|
Born during the late-Third Age in the dark realm of Mordor, Gashbuz served as quartermaster and had risen to his position and rank because of his intelligence and technical skill. The Dark Lord Sauron was impressed of his skills and sent him and large number of Orcs to Isengard and help Saruman, who had betrayed the White Council and pledged his loyalty to the dark lord. During his work in Isengard, Gashbuz had been instructing troops to build the armor and construct the Hanksars for Saruman's Uruk-hai that he created. He was seen dressing several Uruk-hai that were to be deployed by Saruman to hunt the Fellowship of the Ring and bring the hobbits Frodo, Sam, Pippin, and Merry. Throughout the War of the Ring, Gashbuz remained in Isengard until he received word from one of his troops that the Ents and Huorns of Fangorn Forest were attacking. Gashbuz served in the front, but he was easily overwhelmed and killed by one of the Ents that struck him.
