Posco Noakes was a Hobbit who lived in the village of Bywater near Hobbiton.
History[]
Noakes was a regular at the Ivy Bush, and a friend of the Gaffer's. After his old friend Bilbo Baggins left the Shire, Old Noakes spent his time in the Green Dragon where he had a conversation with Gaffer, Sam, and Ted Sandyman about strange things that were happening outside the borders of the Shire.
